Warhorse Studios Confirms Cyberattack Involving Systems and Company Data

Warhorse Studios has confirmed a cyberattack involving unauthorized access to company systems and company data, with an investigation into the incident still underway.

In an official incident statement, the Czech developer said it is working with cybersecurity specialists to secure its systems, investigate what happened, and assess the attack’s full impact. The company is also coordinating with the relevant authorities.

Warhorse Studios CEO Martin Frývaldský called it a “serious incident for Warhorse Studios and everyone affected.” He said the studio’s immediate priorities are to secure its systems, establish the full extent of the breach, and protect employees, partners, and the wider community.

The studio has not disclosed when the attack occurred, how its systems were accessed, what company data was involved, or whether any information was removed or exposed beyond the unauthorized access it confirmed. It has also not identified an attacker or described the incident as ransomware. There is currently no official confirmation involving player data, unreleased builds, or leaks.

Warhorse Studios is best known as the developer of Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. The company said it is not conducting interviews or offering further comment while the investigation continues.

Warhorse says it will share additional verified information when it can do so responsibly.
