Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is getting a second year of crossover content built around Godzilla, Evangelion, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Persona and Sanrio characters. Sega has also announced a permanent digital price reduction in Japan, while the PC base game is currently listed at $39.99 on Steam.
The official Japanese Year 2 announcement identifies six paid collaborations for Season Pass 2: Godzilla, Evangelion, Virtual Sanrio Puroland, SEGALAND, the Final Fantasy VII Remake series and Persona. Season Pass 2 is priced at ¥2,990 in Japan.
An official Xbox store roadmap places the Godzilla pack on November 3, 2026, followed by Evangelion in January 2027. Virtual Sanrio Puroland, featuring Hello Kitty and Kuromi, is scheduled for the second quarter of 2027.
SEGALAND and a provisional Midgar pack are both planned for the third quarter of 2027. SEGALAND is set to add arcade machines based on After Burner, OutRun and Super Megalo, while the Midgar collaboration draws from the Final Fantasy VII Remake series. A Reload Revival Royal pack based on Persona is due in the fourth quarter.
Free updates will continue alongside the paid pass. Sega’s existing roadmap includes additions such as Bayonetta and Aigis, while console-themed decals and machines are also part of the Year 2 schedule. The new season follows the game’s Avatar Legends Pack.
In Japan, Sega reduced the digital standard edition to ¥4,990 from its previous ¥6,990–¥7,990 range. The digital deluxe edition moved to ¥5,990 from ¥7,990–¥8,990, and the Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade is listed at ¥100. Those yen prices come from Sega’s Japanese announcement and should not be treated as direct prices for other regions.
