KRAFTON announced on October 30 that a live-action PUBG series is in development at Netflix, with Donald Glover set to direct, write, executive produce, and star.
Stephen Glover is also attached as a writer and executive producer. Michael Schaefer will executive produce for NEON TV, Fam Udeorji for Gilga, and Taeseok Jang and Sujin Lee for LV3H.
According to KRAFTON’s official announcement, LV3H—KRAFTON’s entertainment entity—is involved in developing and producing the adaptation.
The announcement confirms the project’s core creative team but does not provide a release window or additional casting details. It also stops short of explaining how the series will translate PUBG’s battle royale setting into a scripted live-action story.
Glover’s role gives the project a prominent creative lead from the outset: he is not only starring but also shaping the series as its director, writer, and executive producer.
