Pokémon Bank will end service on Thursday, February 25, 2027, at 7:00 p.m. PST, Nintendo has announced. The shutdown will also remove the ability to move Pokémon from the Nintendo 3DS storage service into Pokémon HOME.
In its official support notice, Nintendo urged players who want to preserve Pokémon currently stored in Bank to transfer them to Pokémon HOME before the service closes. Once the deadline passes, that transfer path will no longer work.
Pokémon Bank is already unavailable for new downloads, so the remaining window primarily affects players who still have access to the application on a Nintendo 3DS system. Transfers from Bank to HOME are one-way, and players should confirm that their Pokémon have arrived safely before the end-of-service date.
The closure will end the long-running bridge that lets compatible Pokémon from older Nintendo 3DS games move into the current storage ecosystem.
Which Pokémon will you make sure to transfer from Pokémon Bank before the February deadline?
