Krafton Inc., known for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, has acquired former Xbox studio Tango Gameworks and its popular title Hi-Fi Rush. This move saves the Japanese-based studio from closure after Microsoft’s recent layoffs. While Krafton now owns Hi-Fi Rush, franchises like The Evil Within will remain with Microsoft. The existing catalog of Tango Gameworks’ games will continue to be available on Xbox Game Pass and other platforms.
