Paramount+ has canceled the video game adaptation “Halo” after two seasons. Starring Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief, the series finished its second season in March. Producers are now seeking a new platform for the third season. Paramount+ expressed gratitude to its partners and fans for the series’ success and commitment to continuing the Halo universe in other ways. The show, originally developed for Showtime, moved to Paramount+ in 2021 and experienced several behind-the-scenes changes. Despite its cancellation, “Halo” garnered significant viewership, spending five weeks in Nielsen’s top 10 streaming series.
