A person using the name Cyberleek claims to possess a complete playable build of Grand Theft Auto VI and is threatening to release it. Neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two Interactive has verified that such a build exists, so the claim should not be treated as confirmation of a full-game leak.
Insider Gaming reports that the threat appeared on the leakerโs own website. The outlet declined to link readers to that site because it may contain malware.
According to the report, Cyberleek says the alleged build contains the full story mode and can be played through the end credits. The leaker tied a possible release to a cryptocurrency reaching a $30 million market capitalization. A separate demand calls for Take-Two to apologize over the lack of an announced physical edition and to release the game on disc. No deadline was stated.
The new threat follows the 24 minutes of unauthorized GTA 6 footage we reported on October 8. That earlier material was also attributed to Cyberleek, but Rockstar did not authenticate it. Its existence does not prove that the leaker has a complete, current or commercially playable version of the game.
That distinction matters because development footage can come from incomplete or older builds and reveal little about access to the finished campaign. Insider Gaming also notes that some observers believe previously circulated material came from an older version. Until Rockstar or Take-Two responds, the claimed full build and its supposed contents remain unverified.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The confirmed development here is the threat itself, not possession of a start-to-finish build.
Do you think this claim is credible, or does the cryptocurrency demand make it look like a bluff?
