Fortnite players who find the exceptionally rare Pirate Shop Access reward can activate a 14-day period in which eligible Item Shop cosmetics cost no V-Bucks. The feature arrived with the Treasure Hunters season, which began on November 1.
Epic Games’ official Treasure Hunters announcement establishes the season and its treasure-hunting setup, but it does not fully document the Pirate Shop’s rules. Details about the reward itself come from players using it in the live game and current reporting.
Dot Esports reports that Pirate Shop Access can appear as an extremely rare reward from Treasure Hunt Chests in Battle Royale. Finding it provides two activation opportunities: one during 2026 and another during 2027, with each activation lasting 14 consecutive days.
During an active window, players can claim eligible rotating cosmetics normally sold for V-Bucks without spending that currency. The reward does not make every Fortnite purchase free: real-money offers, Battle Pass purchases and levels, gifting, and certain other categories are excluded. Players must also claim eligible items while they are available in the shop rather than receiving everything automatically.
If you found Pirate Shop Access, when would you activate your 14-day window?
