Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will premiere on Fuji TV in Japan on October 11, 2026, at 11:15 p.m. JST. The date arrived alongside a new “Super Surge” trailer showing Goku, Beerus, Frieza and other threats featured in Toei Animation’s enhanced edition of the series.
The official Dragon Ball announcement also confirmed that the first episode will receive a world-premiere advance screening at New York Comic Con on October 8. The 45-minute panel begins at noon local time on the Empire Stage at the Javits Center in New York City.
English dub performers Jason Douglas, who voices Beerus, and Ian Sinclair, the voice of Whis, will appear at the panel. Monica Rial, the English voice of Bulma, will host the presentation.
The new trailer offers a broader look at the remade material, including Goku’s confrontation with Beerus and the return of Frieza. Toei describes Dragon Ball Super: Beerus as an “enhanced” version of the earlier anime, with its visuals, audio and structure refreshed to represent Akira Toriyama’s original story and world more faithfully.
The footage also introduces the production’s music. MEGATERA・ZERO performs the opening theme, “ONOGAMI,” while VK Blanka performs the ending theme, “Kan Peki No Peki.” Both tracks can be heard in the new trailer.
Japan’s official notice says episodes will stream on Prime Video and U-NEXT shortly after their Fuji TV broadcasts, with other Japanese services following later each week. The English announcement says broadcasting and streaming will begin in October but does not yet provide a complete international platform schedule.
The official announcements do not list a final episode count. For now, the confirmed schedule begins with the New York Comic Con screening on October 8 and the Japanese television premiere three days later.
