Activision Reduces Call of Duty’s Massive File Sizes

Activision is addressing the large file sizes of Call of Duty games by allowing players to download specific game components separately. This new feature aims to streamline game downloads, with the changes starting to roll out on August 21. These updates will help reduce overall file sizes, especially for the upcoming Black Ops 6, which will be smaller at launch compared to previous titles. Players can expect a phased rollout, with further updates in late August, mid-October, and at Black Ops 6’s launch on October 25.
