Mafia 1 is Going Free to Play on Steam for A Limited Time

The 20th anniversary of the Mafia series has been quite impactful recently, as we have already received the confirmation of a new Mafia game on its way. But it seems like 2K don’t want to stop with this and therefore they decided to make the original Mafia game accessible on Steam for free, starting from September 1st until the 5th.

The users will be able to access their game once they add it to their library on Steam. It’s also worth mentioning once more that this is the original version of the game, and it shouldn’t be confused with the Mafia: Definitive Edition that was released back in 2020.

This is a good chance for those who want to try the game if they haven’t -though I highly suggest you should try the definitive edition instead- or just those who just want to revisit this masterpiece from 2002.
