A New Mafia Game is Confirmed to be in Development
After many rumors, Hangar 13 finally confirmed that a new title from the Mafia franchise is in development. Although this kind of indicates that “Mafia 4” is coming, we don’t know the name of the game yet, so we can’t be exactly sure.
We receive the news of this from the Mafia 20th anniversary developer interview. We saw Hangar 13 General Manager Roman Hladík along with the Head of Production and Media Director Tomáš Hřebíček, where they took a look at the history of the Mafia franchise. Later on, Hladík made the announcement.
Hladík said “I’m happy to confirm we’ve started work on an all-new Mafia project!”, which was huge news. “While it’s a few years away and we can’t share anything more right now, we’re really excited to keep working on this beloved franchise and to entertain our players with new stories.”
