Xbox Cloud Gaming to Receive Mouse and Keyboard Support

Shipped along with the latency improvements, Xbox Cloud Gaming is set to receive mouse and keyboard support, which is a huge milestone for the service.

Xbox has announced that games playable through xCloud will receive mouse and keyboard support soon during Xfest. This is a big update since the PC users of the service can only use gamepads at the moment.

Xbox also announced the upcoming latency optimization. According to them, this new technique they will be using will cut down the latency up to 72ms. Unfortunately, though, this latency reduction might cost the user the visual fidelity. But hey, good news, Microsoft also says that they are working on an improvement for visual quality that will increase the resolution up to 1440p.

Microsoft has been making more and more advances for their Xbox Cloud Gaming service, and it’s looking good for now. Let’s hope everything goes well for us gamers.
