Filming for The Last of Us HBO Series Begin in July 2021
The Director’s Guild of Canada reports that The Last of Us HBO series’ filming has been scheduled between July 5, 2021, and June 8, 2022. The location for the filming has been set as Calgary.
The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees also seems to confirm this, stating that the production will begin in July.
Neil Druckmann will take the responsibility of being the writer and producer of The Last of Us HBO series. Also, in some episodes, the series will “deviate greatly” from the original game, which will result in differences between the game and series.
