Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Receives Update That Adds New Maps

2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has received a new update, which makes this the first update after 4 months of no new content.

The additions and new content was spotted after installing today’s over 50GB mid-season two update. When searching up for a match, players can see the Killhouse map being added with a 24/7 playlist option. Actually, the files of this legendary map were found in the game’s directory back in February 2020.

Al-Raab Airbase and the Drainage (Gunfight) maps were also spotted after the update.

There isn’t a changelog for Modern Warfare, and we don’t know what may be added to the game in the future. Basically, nothing. The addition of these maps was also never announced. Although it’s good to see that Modern Warfare isn’t forgotten.

After the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the update frequency of Modern Warfare has decreased, so it’s always good to know that there will be updates going on still. But hey, will we get a next-gen console version of the game?
