Total War: Rome Remastered Officially Announced by SEGA

SEGA recently announced Total War: Rome Remastered, a brilliant new version of the classic 2004 RTS game with several new features and enhancements.

Total War: Rome Remastered will hit PC on April 29th, which means we only have a few short weeks to wait for it to come into our lives. Better still, owners of the original game will be able to get the remaster 50% off until June 1 through Steam or developer Feral Interactive’s showcase.

In a blog post, SEGA explained, created in collaboration with Feral Interactive, this comprehensive remaster allows players to relive the legacy that defines the award-winning strategy game franchise through a suite of visual and gameplay enhancements.

Total War: Rome Remastered promises a modern gaming experience by staying true to the formula of the original game. New features improve completely reworked visuals, support for ultra-high resolutions, an expanded group roster, and load more accessibility options.

Of course, there will be plenty of new content. SEGA has confirmed that 16 previously unplayable groups will help the original 22, as well as the modernized systems package and features that facilitate the whole experience. In addition to all of the content in the original Total War: Rome and its extensions, there is also cross-game support between Windows, macOS, and Linux.
