The Last Of Us Part 2 Director Wants To Make Punisher Video Game
The Last Of Us Part II is one of Naughty Dog’s best-looking video games we’ve ever seen. While it is full of moments of beauty and joy, it also often brings out man’s most violent urges.
Throughout the adventure, we see characters beaten, shot with a stick, stabbed in the neck, smashed and hollowed out. We see all this in incredible detail, which can be quite difficult for the stomach.
Neil Druckmann, creative director of The Last of Us Part II, touched on a few of the existing franchises he wants to work on Twitter. There were also quite exciting possibilities: Cowboy Bebop, Hotline Miami, Ghost Ride, Half-Life … and The Punisher. While we do no doubt that someone with Druckmann’s talent could bring anything to any of these, The Punisher seems like a complete crisis.
We do no doubt that Druckmann can put together truly ugly scenes of shocking violence, but we must also remember that The Last Of Us Part II is reflections of mindless violence and how this type of situation will affect you.
