A developer got banned from Steam by Valve after them attempting to trick customers into buying their game by naming themselves “Very Positive”.

When you look into a game on Steam, you can see the user reviews below the page, you can also see a brief overview of reviews and see if people like it or not. In this case, the developer tried to make it look like the game has “Very Positive” reviews.

The developer, Very Positive Games, denied the accusations and said that they “disagree” with the result.

After the first spots of the event, it eventually led to Very Positive Games getting banned from Steam. We don’t know if any further actions are going to be taken against Very Positive Games or not, but we’ll let you know when something new happens.
