Call of Duty 2021 Returns to WWII

It is said that the next Call of Duty title will take place in World War II, a very curious choice when we consider who developed Call of Duty 2021. A lot of speculation is putting Sledgehammer Games at the head of the next game, but neither the studio nor the publisher accepted the whispers at the time of writing. Sledgehammer Games has become a support studio for the core inputs of the series, and has helped out with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and most recently with Treyarch in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Founded in 2009, the only Call of Duty games developed by Sledgehammer Games are Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Call of Duty: WWII.

Call of Duty: WWII didn’t do too bad when it was released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2017. One of the downsides was that it looked a bit too similar to other World War II games on the market. For PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the game can allow it to shine in the spotlight.

On the other hand, we heard that Call of Duty 2021 will take place in the Korean War from 1950 to 1953. Call of Duty: Guerrilla Warfare (allegedly name) would have a single-player campaign. The conflicts between South Korea and North Korea. South Korea had the support of the United Nations, including the United States, while North Korea relied on China and the Soviet Union. A handful of reliable leaks have addressed this claim, and so we’ll need to see when and where Call of Duty 2021 will end.

It is important to remember that these leaked data may be out of date by now. We will meet again when there is an official statement.
