Activision Blizzard sues Netflix. As reported by Deadline, Netflix took a senior Activision executive, finance manager Spencer Neumann, before his contract expired. In response to this move by Netflix, Activision filed a lawsuit in California Supreme Court earlier today.
According to Activision lawyers, Neumann started working in May 2017 and his contract will expire in April of this year.
Activision seeks a permanent injunction against Netflix and prevents the streaming service from hiring Activision employees on fixed-term employment contracts. The activity also demands criminal damages.
