Mads Mikkelsen is the New Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts 3
Warner Bros. has officially announced Mads Mikkelsen in the role of Gellert Grindelwald this Wednesday. Johnny Depp, who resigned from the role this month, is replaced by Mads Mikkelsen.
With this announcement, we can clearly see the rumors about the role was correct. Mads Mikkelsen will be in the role of Gellert Grindelwald.
The cast of Fantastic Beasts 3 has Katherine Waterson, Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, Alison Sudol, Eddie Redmayne, Callum Turner, Poppy Corby-Tuech, William Nadylam, Jessica Williams, Victoria Yeates, and Jude Law. With this update, Mads Mikkelsen joins as well.
This change in the Fantastic Beasts 3 cast will probably cause some arguments between fans of the series. While one side appreciates the update, some fans may oppose the decision. We will see how things will work out in the future.
