Hitman developer IO Interactive has announced a new James Bond game, Project 007. IO describes the game as a completely original Bond story.

In active development for consoles and PC, Project 007 will be created in IO’s Glacier engine used for recent Hitman games. It’s unclear exactly what kind of game Project 007 will be, but given IO’s history with stealth and spy games, the studio’s Hitman model looks potentially close to each other.

The game is produced in partnership with Bond film studios MGM and Eon Productions. No release dates or actors have been announced.

IO CEO Hakan Abrakin said in a press release, “Creating an original Bond game is a great undertaking. Partners at EON and MGM can offer something extremely special for our players and communities. Our team is committed to bringing their creativity to the iconic James Bond universe and creating our studio’s most ambitious game. We are very excited about it. “
