The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Confirmed For Xbox Series X and PS5

The next-generation version of The Witcher 3, visually and technically enhanced, is coming to PC, Xbox Series X, and PS5 in 2021. It will come as a free update for players who own the game on existing consoles or PC. CD Projekt Red announced that it is working on a new generation version of the game developed to take advantage of the most powerful gaming hardware. The Complete Edition will have ray tracing and faster load times across the base game and all expansions on PC, Xbox Series X, and PS5.
The next-generation version of the game will be available as an independent purchase for PC, Xbox Series X, and PS5. However, anyone who purchases the game in physical or digital format on PC, Xbox One, or PS4 will be able to update their game for free. According to CD Projekt Red PR leader Radek Grabowski, the update is solely dedicated to upgrading the current generation version of the game while being played on Xbox Series X, and PS5 hardware.
A precise release date for this new edition of the game has not yet been released, but Grabowski has confirmed it will arrive in 2021.
