Dead Island 2 is still under development according to the official Twitter account

It’s been so long since Deep Silver announced the sequel of Dead Island, Dead Island 2. In 2014, Deep Silver announced that Dead Island 2 is coming and after a while, they announced that YAGER will not develop the game. Since then, we’ve heard nothing.

Now, according to Dead Island official Twitter account, Dead Island 2 is still under development.

What’s going on is that it’s in development and we won’t be showing more until we’re ready. Appreciate the wait is painful, but Dead Island 2 is still coming.

Well, there is nothing new actually, but good to know that it is still on the way. Still, since we’ve waiting so long, our expectations got higher and higher. We just need to sit tight and hope for the best.
