EA reveals Command and Conquer: Rivals a mobile strategy game

One of the best strategy games of all times has become a mobile game. During EA Play, EA announced a new title for the franchise. It has nothing to do with Command and Conquer as we know and it looks more like a colorful and regular mobile game with Command and Conquer on its cover.

The objective of the game is to control hexes with your units and send nukes to the enemy base. Nothing else… As you can see in the video above, the game is now a standard mobile game. Can it be fun? Yeah why not. Mobile games are a serious business now. And I do like one or two of them. But seeing one of the best strategy games becoming something this simple just makes me sad. However, we cannot be sure before we can actually play it right?
