Sony’s Paris Games Week press conference highlights

Sony’s Paris Games Week press conference is now over and left us overly hyped with brilliant upcoming games and exciting news. Here, we will see what happened at the press conference and what we should expect from Sony. Let’s take a look:

New Announcements

Spelunky 2

It is now confirmed that Spelunky 2 is coming for PlayStation 4 and PC. Spelunky 2 will be a sequel to Spelunky. Sony shared an announcement trailer for the game and you can watch it below.

Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima is one of the brand new games of Sony which will launch on PlayStation 4. The game is under development by Sucker Punch Productions and is set in 1274. Samurai warriors are the legendary defenders of Japan–until the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the island of Tsushima, wreaking havoc and conquering the local population. As one of the last surviving samurai, you rise from the ashes to fight back.

The Gardens Between

Guacamelee 2

Guacamelee 2 is coming as a sequel to Metroidvania-style platformer Guacamelee. Seven years after defeating Carlos Calaca, Juan Aguacate is forced to don his luchador mask again to face a new threat.

Concrete Genie

Concrete Genie is another colorful adventure game from Sony. Concrete Genie is under development by Pixelopus and will tell the story of a bullied teenager named Ash, who escapes his troubles by painting spectacular living landscapes and mischievous creatures throughout his abandoned hometown of Denska.

The Last of Us: Part II

Finally, now we have another trailer to admire. Still, there is no release date but here is something to ease the pain until the launch.

God of War

During Sony’s press conference, we got a chance to look at God of War’s combat mechanics with a new gameplay trailer. Intensity, strategy, and an emotional combat connection between Kratos and his son Atreus, is what Santa Monica Studio wants you to feel in the new combat system for God of War.

Detroit: Become Human

This one is one of the most anticipated games for me. Sony announced the game will launc sometime during spring of 2018. Also, there is a new splendid trailer for the upcoming game.

Shadow of Colossus Remastered

Yes! PS4’s Shadow of Colossus Remastered now has a release date. Sony announced that the game will launch on February 6, 2018. Here is the new trailer of the upcoming game.

Call of Duty: WWII

Sony announced that Call of Duty: WWII is getting its first map pack, The Resistance, on January 30. After The Resistance, we will get three more maps. Along with that, we will receive a bonus map named as Carentan at launch.

Destiny 2

Destiny 2’s first DLC expansion, Curse of Osiris, now has a new trailer. Destiny 2 Expansion I: Curse of Osiris continues your Guardian’s journey with all-new story missions and adventures set in a new destination, Mercury.

The Hong Kong Massacre

Monster Hunter World

In Monster Hunter World, you’ll be able to dress up as Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn in only PlayStation 4 version. Also, Monster Hunter World beta will start on December 9 for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
