CD Projekt Red celebrates 10th anniversary of The Witcher with a beautiful video

“Memories Are Forever”

Wow, time just flies by…I can’t believe that it has already been 10 years since the first Witcher game was released. Although it received many negative critics about the combat system and emotionless character dialogue animations, the story and the RPG elements of the game were fantastic. Since exactly that moment , CD Projekt Red has improved every single aspect of the game.

The Witcher 2: Assasins of Kings, which was probably one of the best games of 2011, made the game much more attractive for gamers. The story, the combat mechanics, the lore of Andrzej Sapkowski’s book series made the game a unique experience. And the story went into a different and exciting point that people couldn’t wait for the third title.

And then, on 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released. Suddenly it became the best game that many people played so far. It showed us that a game which was ‘nearly’ perfect was possible to make. Of course it had its own flaws. But overall, the game was a masterpiece. But since then, especially after the expansions of The Witcher 3 we haven’t heard from the main title. Of course we saw a couple of different projects like Gwent stand alone version and an adventure game. But about the main game, we do not have any officiaş information yet. But don’t worry! CDPR has a good surprise for us to remind that we are not forgotten:

CD Projekt Red thanks all of us gamers in the best way possible. And I really hope that this will influence many other companies. Thanks a lot CDPR for this awesome masterpiece. It’s good to see Geralt and others again.
