A Mesmerising Adventure – What Remains of Edith Finch
What is this magic?!
When I first laid my eyes on What Remains of Edith Finch, I thought that this one is a game changer. Every screenshot that I’ve seen made me feel lost somehow.
What Remains of Edith Finch is an adventure title and a collection of short stories about a cursed family in Washington State. We will experience life through these stories as various family members and, the gameplay and tone of the stories will change everytime we change the character.
“It’s a game about what it feels like to be humbled and astonished by the vast and unknowable world around us.”
Each story we dive into, ends up with that family member’s death. Together with first-person perspective, these two are the constans of the game.
It must be frustrating, being the last and only Finch around but here we are. We are the last Finch alive and with the burning flame inside, we begin to explore our family curse. With its mesmerising graphics and strange tales, What Remains of Edith Finch is now one of the most anticipated games of the year for us.
Through regular doors and secret passageways, we will explore the Finch house. In this house, we will enter the rooms of deceased family members who have been preserved like frozen moments in time. Every room tells a different story, like every screenshot of the game.
On April 25, What Remains of Edith Finch will hit PlayStation 4 and PC and thanks to Giant Sparrow, we will dive into a charming experience.
