Wreckfest 2 has been officially announced by developer Bubear and publisher THQ Nordic at the THQ Nordic 2024 showcase. The sequel promises a revamped physics engine for higher crash fidelity, a deeper damage system, and greater car customization. The career mode is reimagined to support all playstyles, and the game will include singleplayer challenges, multiplayer with skill-based matchmaking, and local split-screen mode. The release date is yet to be confirmed, but more details are available on THQ Nordic’s website and Steam.
