Vought Rising: The Boys Prequel Announced at SDCC

Prime Video has announced a new prequel series, “Vought Rising,” during San Diego Comic-Con. The series, set in the 1950s, will star Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash reprising their roles from “The Boys.” Described as a “twisted murder mystery,” it delves into the origins of the evil megacorporation Vought. Eric Kripke, the creator of “The Boys,” is an executive producer, promising a saga “drenched in blood and Compound V.” This is the latest addition to “The Boys” universe, following the animated series “The Boys Presents: Diabolical” and “Gen V.”
