Ubisoft has announced that it is “actively working” on projects related to the Driver franchise, despite halting plans for a live-action series. Originally announced in 2021 in partnership with streaming service Binge, the series has been shelved, confirmed after the dissolution of Hotrod Tanner LLC. While there hasn’t been a new mainline Driver game since 2011, Ubisoft reassures fans that exciting projects are in the works.
