Invincible creator Robert Kirkman revealed at San Diego Comic-Con that he envisions the show running for seven to eight seasons to fully adapt the comic. While Season 4 has just been renewed, Kirkman is hopeful the series could extend even further if it remains popular with Prime Video and fans. He emphasized the importance of adapting the comic faithfully and having enough time to give the stories justice.
