Developer Oh BiBi has ended development of Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble before the free-to-play mobile game could receive its planned worldwide launch. The title had been available through a regional soft launch, but its final update begins rolling out on November 6, 2026.
The game’s official shutdown announcement says Ranger Rumble will be removed from Apple’s App Store and Google Play on November 21. Players who already have it installed can continue playing until May 1, 2027, when the servers will permanently close.
In-app purchases have already been removed. The Super Pass is now free, while Qwark Pass seasons, matchmaking and the existing game modes will continue until the end-of-service date.
Once the servers close, all player data will be deleted. Progress, purchases and unlocked items cannot be transferred to another game, although refund eligibility for earlier purchases will remain subject to Apple or Google’s policies.
Oh BiBi developed the multiplayer arena game in collaboration with PlayStation Studios and Insomniac Games. The shutdown is limited to Ranger Rumble and does not affect other Ratchet & Clank titles or PlayStation services.
Were you hoping to see Ranger Rumble receive a full worldwide launch?
