PlayStation has unveiled the PS5 Prism Collection, a new transparent accessory lineup featuring Flare Orange, Emerald Green, and Graphite Gray versions of the DualSense wireless controller and matching PS5 console covers. The collection begins launching on February 4, 2027, with preorders opening in November.
According to the official PlayStation Blog announcement, the designs combine clear, high-gloss shells with monochromatic colors and metallic center panels. The transparent finish extends across the back of each controller, exposing some of the internal technology while maintaining the familiar DualSense shape.
Flare Orange
Flare Orange is the brightest of the three finishes. PlayStation describes it as a vibrant orange, with the overlapping transparent material introducing a subtle rosy tone in parts of the controller. Matching console covers give a PS5 setup the same luminous color treatment.
Emerald Green
Emerald Green uses a deep hunter-green color beneath its clear exterior. The transparency adds depth to the finish, while the metallic center section provides contrast between the controller’s surfaces. A coordinated set of PS5 console covers will also be available.
Graphite Gray
Graphite Gray takes a more restrained approach with a cool-toned storm-gray finish. Its transparent shell reveals the controller’s internal structure while keeping the overall appearance dark and understated, with matching covers extending the look to the console.
