Pokémon UNITE will end service on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices on March 23, 2027, at 00:00 UTC, The Pokémon Company and TiMi Studio Group have announced.

The official end-of-service notice says players can continue logging in and participating in battles until that deadline. The companies did not give a reason for the shutdown.

Aeos Gem sales ended on October 27, 2026, at 05:00 UTC. Players can still spend Aeos Gems already held in their accounts until service closes.

New UNITE Club memberships and automatic membership renewals also stopped at 05:00 UTC on October 27. Current members will retain their benefits and services through the end of their existing membership period.

Pokémon UNITE will receive an update on November 12 featuring a special event and a new library feature. The event will let players obtain various previously released items, including Unite licenses and Holowear. Qualifiers for the previously announced Pokémon UNITE Aeos Crown 2027 Tokyo tournament are scheduled to begin on December 5, 2026.

The library will preserve access to certain records and in-game content after online service ends, but players must download the required library data before March 23 at 00:00 UTC. Anyone who misses that deadline will not be able to use the feature afterward.

Once service has ended, players will no longer be able to log in or join battles. The notice also warns that library data generally cannot be transferred when changing devices and that support for the feature will not be available after shutdown.

Will you return to Pokémon UNITE for its final event before service ends?
