Persona 4 Revival Reveals Location Episodes and Aika Nakamura

ATLUS has revealed new Persona 4 Revival characters and a feature called Location Episodes, which will explore the history of Inaba and show previously unseen moments from its residents’ lives.

The details arrived in Persona 4 Revival Broadcast Episode 2, an official 11-minute presentation released on September 19. The video also offered another look at the remake’s combat, supporting cast, and updated soundtrack.

Location Episodes begin when Aika Nakamura asks the protagonist to investigate Inaba’s past. Photographs found during the search lead to stories about how party members and other residents spent their earlier years in town. Examples shown in the presentation include a young Chie Satonaka and a middle-school Yosuke Hanamura at the future construction site of Junes.

The feature is intended to expand Inaba itself as well as its cast. ATLUS says some episodes will focus on people outside the Investigation Team, adding more background to the town and its community.

Aika, the daughter of the family that runs the Aiya restaurant, also joins the game’s relationship system. The character is familiar from Persona 4: The Animation but did not appear directly in the original game. The official Persona 4 Revival character page identifies Aoi Yuki as her Japanese voice actor.

The second broadcast also introduced more members of the Investigation Team, including Kanji Tatsumi, Rise Kujikawa, Teddie, and Naoto Shirogane. Supporting characters shown include Nanako Dojima, Ryotaro Dojima, Tohru Adachi, and Marie. Ryotaro Okiayu will take over the Japanese role of Ryotaro Dojima from the late Unsho Ishizuka.

Combat footage revisited the remake’s weakness system, One More turns, All-Out Attacks, and new options such as Baton Touch and Brawl Rush. The official website also confirms newly added events, fully voiced story and relationship scenes, and a reworked soundtrack led by composer Ryota Kozuka.

Vocalist Shiori Sasaki is performing both new music and refreshed versions of tracks that were instrumental in the original release. The broadcast featured “A Sky Full of Stars -Revival-” as one example.

Persona 4 Revival will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store on February 18, 2027. It will also be available through Xbox Game Pass. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will follow on May 20, 2027.
