Free Range Games and North Beach announced that The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will be available on Xbox Series X|S and Steam on August 27 for a limited-time discounted price of $19.99. The release includes The Golden Update, which brings full crossplay, a sandbox mode, and all previous content. Set in the Fourth Age of Middle-earth, the game features resource management and exploration, guided by Gimli Lockbearer, voiced by John Rhys-Davies.
