LEGO has officially listed a new brick-built Astro Bot model, confirming set 40899 as a 276-piece display kit for adults. The official LEGO product page classifies it as a gift with purchase, but it does not yet state what customers must buy, when the offer begins, or which regions will receive it.
The 18+ model includes Astro’s cape, blue propulsion jets and a display stand. Its head can turn, its arms can be repositioned, and owners can swap between round and half-moon eye pieces to change the character’s expression. With its arms extended, the completed build measures over 8 inches (20 cm) high, 4.5 inches (12 cm) wide and 2.5 inches (7 cm) deep, including the stand.
LEGO’s US listing displays a $19.99 price alongside the set, although the Add to Bag button is disabled. Since the same page identifies the model as a gift with purchase and provides no promotion terms, that figure should not be treated as a confirmed standalone sale price.
The listing arrives shortly before the LEGO PlayStation set 72306 launches with LEGO Insiders early access on October 1, 2026, followed by general availability on October 4 for $179.99 in the US. LEGO has not said on the Astro Bot page whether buying that console model will qualify for the gift, so reported purchase thresholds and bundles remain unconfirmed.
