IKEA and Xbox’s nine-piece YXSTABY gaming furniture and accessories collection launches in US stores on October 1, 2026, with prices ranging from $17.99 to $179.99. IKEA says US online sales will begin November 30, while availability and timing may differ in other markets.

The launch follows the collection’s Gamescom unveiling in August. In a new Official Xbox Podcast episode, designers from both companies explain how familiar Xbox controller shapes became furniture and accessories intended to work in shared living spaces.

IKEA’s official YXSTABY announcement says one IKEA designer and one Xbox designer collaborated on every piece. The teams also visited homes where gaming is part of everyday life, focusing on storage, cable management and products that can move between rooms.

US prices for the IKEA and Xbox YXSTABY collection

The US IKEA collection page lists all nine pieces and their launch prices:

  • Gaming D-pad controller platter — $17.99
  • Gaming D-pad cushion — $17.99
  • Gaming controller display box — $29.99
  • Gaming laptop support with storage — $34.99
  • Gaming monitor stand — $39.99
  • Gaming thumbstick stool — $49.99
  • Gaming lounge chair — $119.99
  • Gaming TV stand on castors — $149.99
  • Gaming side table on castors — $179.99

The controller-inspired pieces are the collection’s most obvious Xbox references. The D-pad appears as both a green cushion and a stainless steel platter, while the stool expands the form and movement of an analog stick into a seat. A mirrored display box is designed to show a controller from multiple angles.

Other products take a subtler approach. The rolling TV stand includes storage for consoles, controllers and headphones, while the side table provides a charging area behind sliding doors. The laptop support stores accessories under a lid that can unfold into a stand, and the monitor stand includes space for a phone, headphones and a controller.

Xbox’s design team said the collection was a natural fit because the room around a player is part of the gaming experience. IKEA approached the same problem from the perspective of making gaming equipment easier to use, organize and put away in multipurpose rooms.
