Rockstar Games has reportedly begun distributing Grand Theft Auto 6 review codes to media outlets. The claim comes from NateTheHate2 on X, who also said the review embargo is scheduled to lift on November 18, 2026.
If accurate, the reported embargo would end one day before GTA 6 launches. However, Rockstar Games has not publicly confirmed that review codes are being distributed, and it has not announced a November 18 review embargo. Both details therefore remain unconfirmed reports.
The release date and current console platforms are official. Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto VI site lists a November 19, 2026 launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
