Sony Pictures TV and Amazon MGM Studios are hitting the reset button on their God of War series for Prime Video after the departure of key executive producers, Rafe Judkins, Hawk Ostby, and Mark Fergus. The EPs had completed multiple scripts for the first season, but the studios are now seeking a fresh creative direction with a new writers room. Despite the shift, the series remains a high priority for Prime, with other executive producers, including God of War game director Cory Barlog, still on board.
