Capcom says a Nintendo Switch 2 update for Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is currently in development and will be released at a later date. The publisher has not announced a release date or confirmed whether the Switch 2 patch will contain every change in Title Update 4.1.
Title Update 4.1 is already available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Capcom’s official update notes describe a broad collection of fixes across vocations, pawns, enemies, NPCs, quests, equipment, and the interface.
What Title Update 4.1 fixes
The combat changes address a Warrior bug that could trigger another attack after canceling Goring Lunge, a Magick Archer lock-on problem, and an issue that stopped Mystic Spearhand’s Mirour Vesture effect from activating between the Arisen and Sigurd.
Pawns should fall from cliffs less frequently after the update. Capcom also fixed cases where pawns stood still after receiving the Explore command, failed to sheathe their weapons after battle, were launched into the air during certain fights, or displayed unnatural eye movement.
Other notable repairs include the Back to the Temple quest being marked as failed even when its requirements had been met, Hal’s tailoring option being blocked by unrelated dialogue, and incorrect placement of NPCs in the Norgan Mortuary. The patch also corrects several control-mapping, equipment-storage, tutorial, and saved-statistic issues. On Steam, entering the “<” character should no longer make text disappear or disrupt the cursor.
Capcom’s separate Switch 2 message confirms only that an update is being prepared. It does not specify its version number, download size, complete fix list, or timing, so Switch 2 players should not assume Title Update 4.1 has already reached their system.
