Dead Island 2 Introduces New Game Plus and Horde Mode

Dambuster Studios is set to release the ‘Patch 6’ update for Dead Island 2 on October 22, 2023. This update will bring two major features: New Game Plus and a new horde mode called “Neighbourhood Watch.” In this horde mode, players will defend a safe house against waves of zombies over a five-day loop, with new abilities, weapons, and mechanics to unlock. The New Game Plus mode will allow players to restart the game with their existing character, weapons, and skills, while also introducing an increased level cap, tougher difficulty, and new zombie archetypes.
