Developer Motion Blur has unveiled “Black State,” a next-gen third-person action-adventure game blending the espionage action of Metal Gear Solid with the portal mechanics of Portal, powered by Unreal Engine 5 and set for PC. Players will control a former military legend on a mission to rescue a scientist and uncover the truth behind a cataclysmic event, navigating through perilous and unpredictable doors assigned by enigmatic Architects. The game draws inspiration from titles like The Last of Us, Metal Gear Solid, and Uncharted, promising rich storytelling and engaging gameplay. Developed by a small team in Turkey, Black State has been in the works for nearly three years, driven by Kadir Demirden’s decade-long vision.
