Amazon’s upcoming series Like a Dragon: Yakuza is set to bring the popular video game franchise to the screen, with Ryoma Takeuchi starring as Kiryu. In an exclusive interview at SDCC, the lead actors revealed they were actually instructed by the production team not to play the games. This decision was made to ensure they could create their own version of the characters, while still honoring the game’s spirit. The show premieres on Prime Video on October 24.
