Getting 100% in Star Wars: Galactic Racer means much more than finishing its three-act Campaign. For the full trophy or achievement set, you must clear Act 3 on Champion difficulty, earn Gold in all 50 base-game Arcade events, unlock and master 20 Favors and 14 Racer Styles, finish 12 Tales of Podracing events, defeat 11 rivals, and win the Galactic Gauntlet with all three speeder types.

The longest part is Galactic Gauntlet mastery. You can make that grind far more efficient by combining a new Racer Style, up to three unmastered Favors, and an unmastered speeder in the same win. If you need launch, platform, multiplayer, or edition details first, see our Star Wars: Galactic Racer Complete FAQ.

The 50 required Arcade events are the base-game set. The three extra Arcade events included with the Deluxe Edition do not increase that requirement.

All 20 Favors and how to unlock them

Favors are Campaign bonuses selected before a tour. You may equip up to three, and the selection stays locked for that tour. Unlock conditions cover story progress, Field Tests, backer ratings, Rival Head-to-Heads, and multi-step Mystery Encounters. After meeting a requirement, speak to the relevant character when prompted so the Favor is added to the Logbook.

Favor Unlock requirement
Clandestine Aid Complete Act 1: The Qualifier
Mad Genius Complete the first two planets in Act 1
Gadgeteer Complete six Time Trial Field Tests
Feet First Complete the first Tales of Podracing event
Old Greats Complete all 12 Tales of Podracing events
Team Vranki Reach Derven Acos with at least a Satisfactory Hutt rating
Deeper Pockets Reach Derven Acos with at least a Satisfactory Broker rating
Bloody Bounty Reach Derven Acos with at least a Satisfactory Pirate rating
Preferred Customer Purchase four Parts from the Scrap Dealer
Smuggler’s Hope Complete six Ramjet Field Tests
Fan Club Defeat Lyren Shok in a Rivalry Head-to-Head
Racer Roulette Complete Biddy Blas’s multi-step Mystery Encounter sequence
Victorious Loser Defeat Griff Halloran in a Rivalry Head-to-Head
Unassuming Prodigy Complete two Precision Field Tests
Silent Defiance Defeat Sen Fira in a Rivalry Head-to-Head
Underhanded Upperhand Complete Malis Vazosk’s multi-step Mystery Encounter sequence
Second Chance Complete Katja Mox’s multi-step handicap sequence
Family Legacy Defeat Ary Quill in a Rivalry Head-to-Head
High Roller Defeat Fola Kanjen in a Rivalry Head-to-Head
Brutal Calm Complete two Battling Field Tests

Three Favors depend on random Mystery Encounter chains. Racer Roulette comes from Biddy Blas, Underhanded Upperhand from Malis Vazosk, and Second Chance from Katja Mox. Prioritize “?” nodes whenever one of those chains is unfinished. Malis’s sequence requires 20,000 Credits total across four payments of 4,000, 4,000, 5,000, and 7,000, while Katja’s asks you to finish several planets under imposed handicaps.

Do not postpone Clandestine Aid. It unlocks after Act 1, but it cannot be equipped in Act 3. Because 100% completion requires a Gauntlet win with every Favor, equip Clandestine Aid for the Act 2 Galactic Gauntlet and secure its Mastered mark there. Missing that opportunity means restarting the Campaign and working back through Acts 1 and 2.

The exact Favor count and unlock paths were cross-checked against PowerPyx’s trophy roadmap and AllThingsHow’s Favor guide.

All 14 Racer Styles and how to unlock them

Racer Styles change the bonuses and behaviors that define a build. Most unlock naturally as cumulative Campaign milestones, so use the conditions below to identify what needs attention. Progress carries between tours.

Racer Style Unlock requirement
Survivor Unlocked by default
Tenacious Participate in four tour events
Redliner Use Ramjet for 375 seconds
Brawler Achieve 20 Takedowns
Ramjet Rider Use Ramjet for 950 seconds
Tech Expert Activate 80 Abilities
Afterburner Win 35 tour events
Stunt Runner Spend 240 seconds airborne
Engineer Activate 110 Abilities
Firebug Achieve 48 Takedowns
Slipstreamer Win 40 tour events
Ice Cold Activate 160 Abilities
Clean Racer Win 60 tour events
Weaponised Become the Galactic League champion

Unlocking a Style is only half of its 100% requirement. You must also win the Galactic Gauntlet while using each of the 14 Styles. Highlight a Style in the Logbook and look for the Mastered label to track which wins have counted. Since only one Style can be equipped per run, this creates a hard minimum of 14 Gauntlet wins.

Tales of Podracing

There are 12 Tales of Podracing events. They begin appearing in Act 2 when Sebulba can be found on foot at a planet. Speak to him to start the next event in the sequence.

Simply reaching the finish is not always enough. Each Tale requires first place, and some add a secondary objective such as wrecking a set number of opponents. A failed attempt is not permanently lost, but you must wait until Sebulba appears again before retrying it.

The series matters beyond its own completion requirement. The first Tale unlocks the Feet First Favor, all 12 unlock Old Greats, and progression through the sequence unlocks Abilities needed elsewhere in the completion list. Clear a Tale whenever Sebulba offers one instead of leaving the full chain for late cleanup.

Galactic Gauntlet mastery

The Galactic Gauntlet is a three-stage Eliminator Race on Derven Acos. It appears as the penultimate event in Acts 2 and 3. One win is not enough: separate mastery checks track every Favor, every Racer Style, and each of the three required speeder types.

  • 20 Favors: You can carry three per win, so the theoretical minimum is seven Gauntlet wins.
  • 14 Racer Styles: Only one can be active, so this sets the overall minimum at 14 wins.
  • Three speeder types: Win once with the Landspeeder, Speeder Bike, and Skim Speeder.

The most efficient Gauntlet route

  1. Use Clandestine Aid during the Act 2 Gauntlet as soon as it is available.
  2. For every later win, select one Racer Style that is not marked Mastered.
  3. Equip three unmastered Favors whenever possible.
  4. Cycle through the Landspeeder, Speeder Bike, and Skim Speeder during the first three wins.
  5. Check the Logbook after each victory. Do not rely on memory.
  6. For dedicated cleanup, restart the Campaign and repeat Act 2. After winning its Gauntlet, intentionally lose the final event against Kestar Bool so the Act restarts.

The Act 2 loop is faster because it has fewer planets than Act 3 and does not add the story Podracing events. Keep useful permanent upgrades while rotating the mastery items. If a run produces poor event choices or no useful Mystery Encounters, restarting early can save more time than forcing a bad route.

Rivals and Head-to-Heads

You must defeat 11 rivals in Rivalry Head-to-Heads. Kestar Bool is not part of this total.

From Act 2 onward, repeatedly place sidebets against the same competitor on one planet. That racer may approach you on the next planet and become your Rival. Once the Rival marker appears, continue taking sidebets involving that racer until the one-on-one Head-to-Head challenge triggers, then win it.

Rival appearances involve some random chance, so fold this task into the 14 Gauntlet mastery runs. If a needed competitor appears as a sidebet on the first event, commit to that racer for the planet. If the Rival relationship does not form afterward, reset rather than spending an entire tour on a dead end. The vehicle color unlocks can help show which rivals have already been beaten, but a simple checklist is safer.

Vehicles, Speeders, and other core requirements

The Gauntlet mastery requirement uses three repulsorcraft classes: the Landspeeder, Speeder Bike, and Skim Speeder. The Landspeeder is available from the start. The Speeder Bike costs 10 Tuning Points, and the Skim Speeder costs 20. Although the official game overview also features podracers, they are not a fourth speeder type for this Gauntlet mastery check.

After the collections and Gauntlet grind, the major remaining 100% gates are:

  • Finish the Campaign once on any difficulty to unlock Champion.
  • Complete Act 3 again on Champion difficulty.
  • Earn Gold in all 50 base-game Arcade events.
  • Use all nine Abilities at least once.
  • Complete the remaining one-off trophy or achievement tasks, including a clean tour, backer-rating goals, a Scenario, shop purchases, and specified driving feats.

Save the Arcade Gold-medal cleanup until late. The Campaign teaches the routes, mechanics, vehicle behavior, and Ability timing you need, while the 50 Arcade events demand consistent execution with preset builds.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you need for 100% in Star Wars Galactic Racer?

For the full trophy or achievement set, finish the Campaign, clear Act 3 on Champion, earn Gold in all 50 base Arcade events, unlock all 20 Favors and 14 Racer Styles, complete all 12 Tales of Podracing, beat all 11 required rivals, use all nine Abilities, and finish every Gauntlet mastery requirement plus the smaller one-off challenges.

How many Favors are there?

There are 20 Favors. You must unlock all 20 and win the Galactic Gauntlet with each one equipped. Because three can be equipped together, Favor mastery takes at least seven Gauntlet wins.

How many Racer Styles are there?

There are 14 Racer Styles. Each must be unlocked and used for a Galactic Gauntlet victory, making 14 wins the minimum for complete Style mastery.

How many Tales of Podracing events are there?

There are 12. They begin in Act 2 through encounters with Sebulba, and every event must be won. Some also require a secondary objective.

What is the Galactic Gauntlet?

It is a three-part Eliminator Race on Derven Acos and the penultimate event in Acts 2 and 3. Its mastery records make it the central grind for 100%, because you must win with all 20 Favors, all 14 Racer Styles, and all three speeder types.

Can anything be missed?

No trophy or achievement is permanently missable, but Clandestine Aid can be missed within a Campaign run. It cannot be equipped in Act 3, so if you reach Act 3 without mastering it in the Act 2 Galactic Gauntlet, you must restart the Campaign and play back through Acts 1 and 2.

What is the fastest way to finish the Gauntlet grind?

Repeat the Act 2 route, rotate one unmastered Racer Style and up to three unmastered Favors per win, and cycle the three speeders during the first three runs. After each Gauntlet victory, intentionally lose the Act 2 finale against Kestar Bool to restart the shorter Act instead of advancing into the longer Act 3 route.

This guide reflects completion information verified as of October 23, 2026.
