Dragon Age: The Veilguard was released on October 31, 2024, and since then, it has received a mix of positive and negative user feedback. Metacritic has addressed the ongoing review bombing of the game, which has been criticized by some users for its inclusive themes and LGBTQ+ representation. While the game holds a positive critic score of 84, its user score on Metacritic is much lower at 3.8, with many negative reviews accusing it of promoting a “woke agenda.” However, the game has a more favorable reception on Steam, which holds a “Mostly Positive” rating. Metacritic’s parent company, Fandom, said it takes moderation seriously and removes abusive reviews. Despite the backlash, Eurogamer’s review praised The Veilguard as a strong return for BioWare.

The game’s base version on Steam is $59.99, and the Deluxe Edition is $79.99. What do you think of Dragon Age: The Veilguard? Did you review the game on either of these platforms? Share with us in the comments!
