Following its release in August, Black Myth: Wukong has been the center of attention for a while, attracting the interest of many players and leading to very successful sales numbers quickly. Unfortunately, though, the game did not make an Xbox launch yet, only being available on PC and PlayStation 5.

This could be changing, however, as the game’s rating page on ESRB has received an update, mentioning the ‘Xbox Series’ now alongside ‘Windows PC’ and ‘PlayStation 5’. The ESRB is the rating board in North America, as for other regions, there aren’t any developments out there. For example in Europe, it’s PEGI that does the rating of the game and there are no updates from that side on a potential Xbox version yet.

Seeing that Black Myth: Wukong has surpassed 10 million sales within 3 days after its release according to Statista, an Xbox release could reach successful sales numbers.

Now, the ESRB rating update alone does not mean that Black Myth: Wukong is 100% coming to Xbox Series X/S, but it may be a hint. We are going to have to wait until we see what the future unfolds.
