Xbox Cloud Gaming, Microsoft’s cloud gaming service, was launched in 2020. It allows users to stream games that are available in the Xbox Game Pass library. This requirement of being included in the Xbox Game Pass library is rather a limitation, though, as not all of the games available on Xbox are present in the game pass.

Xbox now “plans” to roll out streaming support for users’ game libraries next month, preparing for the testing of streaming abilities for games outside the Xbox game pass service, according to The Verge. Reports say that the first phase of this testing will be held among Xbox Insiders in November before the feature releases for larger audiences.

There are developments for the Xbox mobile app as well. Microsoft is planning to enable purchasing games on the Xbox Android app in the US, which means that the players who purchase new games there will be able to stream them once the feature is launched.

Recent positive developments from the side of Xbox seem interesting, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds up.
