Resident Evil 4 Remake Set for Release in 2023

After many rumors of it going on, Capcom finally announced the remake of Resident Evil 4. The announcement was made in the Sony’s State of Play and will also be released for Xbox and PC.

Thanks to the cinematics taken via PS5 in the video, we get a good look at what the game offers. The release date for this title has been set for March 24, 2023. It is also said that PSVR2 content is in development, but we don’t have many details on it just yet.

A blog post from PlayStation followed this announcement shortly after, saying that this will be a “reimagining” of the original game, aiming to create a survival horror game suitable for 2023 while keeping the “essence” of the original game from 2005.
